Internet Sales Representative
Job Purpose:
Identifies, develops and maintains new customer accounts in a fast-paced, small business environment.
Company:
EOS Lighting LLC sells professional lighting equipment to the video, photographic and film industries across the country as well as internationally.
Duties:
* Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on potential customers; services existing accounts; obtains orders.
* Develops and adjusts content of telephone sales presentations through in-depth study of the product catalog, competitive activity and familiarity with broader industry trends and practices.
* Keeps management informed via order entry activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly analyses.
* Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, merchandising techniques, etc.
* Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
* Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
* Maintains all customer accounts; keeps records up to date
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
