Training Manager
Identify, plan and implement strategic training objectives for the entire staff of Emerald Queen Casino as well as fulfilling all mandatory training requirements to ensure the organization’s overall effectiveness and compliance. The Training Manager must be able to analyze situations, make educated decisions, and work with other management to ensure consistency in program and policy administrations.
1. Satisfies training needs by researching, designing, or purchasing training programs and media introducing new trends in training and development.
2. Achieves financial objectives by preparing the training budget; scheduling expenditures; approving educational requests; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
3. Conducts all necessary training programs required by law and ensures Casino remains in compliance with all training requests.
4. Ensures the Emerald Queen Casino’s superior guest service by providing training and managing the Guest Service Program.
5. Ensures planning, monitoring and evaluation of employee performance by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees.
6. Provide and maintain Emerald Queen Casino’s high standards for superior guest service.
Requirements
BA or BS in Business or related field required. Year for year experience may be substituted. Must have a minimum of three years in human resources training experience in an organization or venue of similar size. Microsoft Office suite proficiency with strong desktop publishing skills required. Excellent organizational, public relations, and presentation skills. Casino Experience preferred.
