Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Contact Information Company: Brown and Caldwell Email: Apply by Email JOB DESCRIPTION Brown and Caldwell, a nationally recognized environmental engineering and consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant or Project Analyst, to join our growing Denver office, located in the Denver West office park near Golden, CO. Responsibilities:In this role, you will have a variety of duties that support the routine accounting functions related to engineering consulting.  Primary duties will include:· Prepare client invoices.· Review and interpret contract terms.· Code documents and ensure they are being processed in the correct accounting period.· Analyze documents for consistency, completeness, and accuracy.· Ensure budgets, cash flows, and subcontract agreements are appropriately documented and approved.· Provide financial assistance and/or training to project managers and operations personnel.· Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:In addition to the skills and experience listed above, the ideal candidate will have: At least two years experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, project accounting, client billing, and contract administration. Experience in engineering consulting or a related industry is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in accounting is a plus. Must have intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
