Help Desk/Desktop Support Technician

Project Time & Cost, Inc., an Atlanta based, international cost and forensic engineering firm is currently seeking a Help Desk/ Desktop Support Technician for our Atlanta, GA Office.

Job Duties

As a Help Desk/Desktop Support Technician, you will provide help desk/desk top support duties to include: troubleshooting desktop and laptop issues including research and resolution. Installation, configuration and upgrades of new software (Windows XP, MS Office 2003 and other engineering related software). Conduct diagnostic testing of hardware on “broken” machines. Maintain the appearance of the I.T. areas. Other general I.T. functions as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS preferred. 0-2 years of practical experience. Familiarity with networking, configuring desktops/laptops, Active Directory. Excellent customer service experience. Must be able to communicate with all levels of personnel.

Physical Working Conditions

·  Must be able to lift up to 50  pounds

·  Must be able to bend, squat or kneel
