GIS Associate II need in Denver, CO office

Michael Baker Jr. Inc., a division of Michael Baker Corporation, seeks a GIS Associate II for its Lakewood, Colorado Office (Denver).

The Colorado office is primarily focused on Federal and Transportation projects.  Main clients are FEMA, the Regional Transportation District, and the Colorado Department of Transportation.  On the federal side, civil engineers focus mainly on floodplain management, hydraulics and hydrology and program management.  On the transportation side our engineers and planners focus on public transit planning and design, construction management, and scheduling.  Future projects would include bridge structures, highways and possibly airports.

 

Qualifications required include four year degree in GIS or related field and two to four years in GIS profession; water resources or transportation experience preferred.  Under direct supervision, will be responsible for input, modification, manipulation, and providing basic analysis of GIS data.  Background/experience in programming a plus.  Should have experience using ESRI's ArcGIS software and extensions.
