Job Description Electrical Engineers Burns & McDonnell has exciting opportunities in our Denver office in our Energy group for Electrical Engineers.  This position is responsible for performing design on various projects, including switchgear and MCC design and protective relay upgrades; Perform and oversee relay settings calculations; Provide oversight of models for system studies and arc flash evaluations; and Performance and oversight of equipment specifications.  Position prepares estimates and proposals and is involved with progressive design and project management responsibilities.  Engineer provides leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members and meets and interacts with client.  Some marketing responsibilities are required.   Qualified candidates will possess Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from accredited program.4 - 12 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience). Excellent written & verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills are a must.   PE required for Senior level position.  Consulting experience preferred. As a 100% employee owned firm, we offer stock ownership, incentive bonus programs and matching 401(k) plans.
