Account Executive- Network Cabling Company

AVI-SPL, a leader in the design and installation of infrastructure network cabling for voice, data and communication systems, seeks Account Executives for its Herndon, VA office. 

Description of position: 

Interacts, communicates with and responds to existing and new customer base to identify and respond to sales opportunities. Attends customer walkthroughs and project meetings to determine project needs and implement solutions for current and new customers. Develops, maintains and creates relationships with client, vendors and internal departments.  Meets or exceeds established annual sales quota. Specifies, designs and estimates materials and labor necessary for project completion. Responds to Request For Proposals and develops project bids. Follow up with referrals. Deliver concise, organized, comprehensive presentations of Structured Cabling Solutions.

NOTES: Local Residents Preferred (No Relo).Compensation is based on salary and commission plan.Vehicle allowance offered. 

Requirements: 

Must have at least 3+ years of sales in related field. Must also have experience in outside/inside sales and B2B skills. Knowledge/certification in medium to large enterprise environments. Must have knowledge of Telephone, Fiber Optics and Computer Cabling. Effective oral and written communication skills with customers and support personnel. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
