The UI Developer works with peers in brainstorming, concepting, architecture development, and implementing development into existing technology frameworks. The UI Developer will partner with internal & external departmental teams to develop web-based applications that meet brand strategy.

Candidates must be detail-oriented, have the ability to manage multiple projects, and work positively in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Creates and manipulates existing and original web-based application elements for client Web sites using development software and various programming languages. Timely communication with clients, project managers, management and other team members. Maintains and updates web-based applications on existing travel and business services Web sites. Produces comprehensive visuals to give clients conceptual and visual information that will determine the final development flow of projects. Develop and implement Classic ASP and .NET applications.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: The qualified candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and minimum 2 years experience in application development.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Multimedia and Macromedia Flash HTML, Active Server Pages, CSS, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, XML and XSL style sheets Web development fundamentals and creative problem solving Written and verbal communication Organization, paying attention to detail, and meeting aggressive deadlines Expertise in current Internet standards, including Web browsers and browser specifications

Additional Consideration: Knowledge of product versioning and release scheduling AJAX, Flex, JAH Application Security experience Search engine marketing experience Web usability foundations and testing experience Travel industry experience
