Research and Development Chemist

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CHEMIST 
Brookfield manufacturer is seeking an experienced Research and Development Chemist. In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and introduction of new coatings and the continuous improvement of existing technologies and formulations. The individual should have a broad knowledge of chemistry for coatings formulation and experience with relevant test methods.

Individual must have good interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with internal employees, as well as, external vendors and customers. Good project management and problem solving skills and the capability of obtaining results with minimum supervision is required. The successful candidate will have a BS Degree in Chemistry or closely related field and a minimum of 3 years or more experience. Experience with polyurethanes, polyureas and epoxies is helpful.
