Education:

High School Diploma; associates degree in accounting or finance preferred.

 

Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem solving skills; ability to bring work to completion by established deadlines; and ability work in a team based environment.

 

Experience:

Two to three years of accounts payable processing experience; Experience with Microsoft office; Experience with Peoplesoft Accounts Payable system (or similar system such as Oracle or SAP) preferred.

 

Duties:

Responsible for reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy; processing invoices for payment; communicating with vendors regarding payment inquiry or research; reconciling of past due balances; reporting sales and use tax to taxing authorities for multiple state locations; maintaining organized files; providing customer service to our internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner; researching and resolving outstanding checks; and preparing miscellaneous schedules and/or projects assigned by A/P Supervisor.
