Battelle's National Security Global Business is currently seeking an IED MTT Instructor for their Fort Lewis, WA operations. Critical Job Functions: 1. Review instructional material, develop instructional requirements and provide quality instruction and training to students 2. Provide instruction through a multitude of training concepts including coaching and mentoring, facilitate group discussion, platform instruction and seminars. 3. Provide instruction in both a classroom and outdoor environments, including lecture based and practical exercises, at various geographical locations and climates. 4. Be able to use classroom automation and media equipment and effectively include training aids and instructional support products to support training. 5. Be able to manage and follow a training schedule 6. Be able to work with government civilians, military and other contract personnel in a cohesive manner. Required Qualifications: 1. Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the US Armed Forces with experience in Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) operations, to include experience in Route Clearance Operations, Convoy Operations, Check Point Operations, and Fixed Site Security. 2. Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills. 3. Must have military instructor experience and possess a DOD Instructor certification (ITC or equivalent). 4. Must be able to travel as part of a Mobile Training Team (MTT) to various CONUS locations. Home Base will be Fort Lewis, WA. 5. Must have basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft office programs and other computer applications. Recommended Qualifications: 1. Have recent operational experience in either Iraq (OIF) or Afghanistan (OEF). 2. Have a familiarity with Battle Staff, Engineer and Explosive Hazards doctrinal publications.
