VP of Finance - to 125K

Our client, an international private jet charter company with $100 million of assets and $25 million of equity is seeking a Chief Financial Officer.  The CFO will work as a member of a four person team, together with the CEO, manager of flight personnel and manager of ground personnel, and will be responsible for the Controller and Human Resources functions and most Treasurer functions.

 

Responsibilities Include:

· Financial analysis and control

· Forecasting and accounting adequate to support the operating of a company and facilitate an annual external audit

· Recruiting, evaluation, training and development of people

· Distributing of compensation administration and benefits

· Responsible for the compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations, including FAA drug testing

· The production of the policies and procedures manual and facilitation of employee communications

· Treasury responsibilities including cash management, bank accounts and company credit cards

· Management of payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and expense report auditing

· Handling of insurance and taxes, except Federal and California income taxes.

 

Qualifications Include:

· Must be a highly intelligent, confident self starter who is eager to learn and possesses the ability to grow

· Four year college degree required, MBA a plus.

· CPA level accounting knowledge

· Aviation industry knowledge a plus

· Must possess a high level of accuracy

· Must have diplomatic skills and toughness sufficient enough to collect late receivables and negotiate terms with suppliers

· Must be team player who is both assertive and flexible

· Ten years of industrial experience or equivalent combination of fewer years.  This must include corporate accounting, financial control and financial analysis work. 

· Treasurer and Human Recourses experience preferred.
