Position reports to:  Internal Audit Director

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Internal Auditor will be given every opportunity to advance within this global, publicly-traded organization. The employer has a track record of promoting internally due to company growth.

 

International and domestic travel is required. Overall travel percentage ranging between 25-35%. One-two international trips/year. Travel is planned in advance, so you will notice a difference coming from public.



 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Plan, conduct and report on international audits performed throughout the companyReview, analysis and testing of internal control systemsReview and compliance with company and regulatory policies and proceduresPerform and review financial statement auditsManage and train employeesProject work related to acquisitions such as due diligence and integration.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting5+ years audit experience in public or industry, or bothCPA certification or in the process of obtaining certificationWillingness to work 40+ hours/week

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

The finance group is the most visible area of the company. The company is finance-driven. The audit department is a corporate function, so you will be working closely with the CFO, Controller and Assistant Controller.
