Senior Financial Analyst

 As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work in a challenging, fast paced, technology-driven environment in the dynamic Internet marketplace. The specific work will include responsibility for cost/expense and headcount reporting, forecasting, annual and monthly planning, financial modeling, and monitoring financial performance. Responsibilities· Design the company’s forecasting and budgeting process for operating cash flow, net income, free cash flow and balance sheet· Design the company’s long range planning process and contribute to the development of the company’s strategic plan· Develop analytical models to improve business insight: revenue trends and growth trajectory, portfolio mix; profitability measurements; competitive analysis, traffic quality and conversion· Help create the weekly, monthly and quarterly management reporting package· Establish KPI’s and performance dashboards· Develop information alignment between financial statements and other revenue data contained in business warehouse· Develop modeling to improve business profitability analyzing marketing expense and ROI, compensation costs and headcount metrics, capital investment and ROI· Help support all deals and transactions with analytical models, industry research and benchmarking of internal and external data· Help support ongoing operational processes such as expense reporting, accruals and forecasts, P&L variance analysis· Help support review and analysis of third party processors for payments and payroll· Analysis of benefits programs and talent acquisition and retention mechanisms· Participate in the review and eventual implementation of improved finance information architecture, applications and General ledger Skills/Qualifications: Master in Business Administration or related graduate degree 5 years of post-MBA related work experience in a finance and planning function, investment bank, and/or consulting firm Experience in the internet industry a plus Superb, demonstrated excel modeling skills required Excellent knowledge of all aspects of financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow Experience with external/regulatory filings a plus Analytical thinker as demonstrated by prior work experience with modeling deals, analyzing business and competitive trends, discounted cash flow analysis on investments Self-starter who is resourceful in figuring things out, process improvement oriented, thinks out of the box See Job Description
