Internal Auditor / Sr Internal Auditor

INTERNAL AUDITOR EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

 B.S or B.B.A. in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degrees related to business and management are desirable.  Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CMA, and CISA, or similar international certifications, are desirable.Minimum of 2-3 years recent auditing experience or a combination of audit & accounting/finance experience in public accounting or industry with exposure to multinational operations. Fluency in English required - other language skills are desirable.Good oral and written communications skills.Experience with Sarbanes Oxley related matters.Strong knowledge of internal control theory, and current auditing, accounting and reporting theory and requirements.Intermediate skills in cost and inventory accounting, manufacturing plant auditing including financial, operational and control areas.Familiar with current computer and network technology.Ability to work effectively with people even under difficult circumstances.Strong organizational skills and high productivity.Recognizes that changes in circumstances and customer expectations alter objectives and priorities, and demonstrates flexibility.Ability to build collaborative relationships and contribute to the efforts and accomplishments of teams throughout the organization.Ability to work independently with only limited supervision.

SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

 B.S. or B.B.A. in Accounting or equivalent.  Advanced degrees related to business and management are desirable.  Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CMA, and CISA, or similar international certifications, are desirable.3-7 years of recent auditing experience or a combination of audit and accounting and finance experience of which minimum 3 years must be from audit, with progressive levels of responsibility in public accounting and/or industry providing exposure to multinational operations.  Foreign language skills, preferably in German, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin Chinese are a plus.  Experience auditing in other countries, particularly in Mexico and Latin America, would also be a plus.  Commensurate experience will be judged on an individual basis.Strong knowledge of current internal control theory including U.S. GAAS and GAAP. Knowledge covering these areas relative to foreign countries, especially European and Latin American countries would be a plus.Experience with Sarbanes Oxley related matters.Good skills in cost and inventory accounting and in manufacturing plant auditing, including financial, operational and control areas.Excellent communications skills, including significant experience in written and oral reports and presentations to high-level management.Demonstrated ability to work effectively without on-site supervision, both independently and in small teams.  Good managerial skills to ensure proper supervision of staff on audits. Reasonable familiarity with current computer and network technology.Ability to work effectively with people even under difficult circumstances.Recognizes that changes in circumstances and customer expectations alter objectives and priorities, and demonstrates adaptability.Builds collaborative relationships and contributes to the efforts and accomplishments of teams throughout the JCI organization.
