Financial Analyst

Twin Disc, Inc., the leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of power transmission equipment, has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst.

 

This position is responsible for analyzing and preparing reports, monitoring capital projects, maintaining fixed assets module of JD Edwards, assisting with preparation of Annual Budget/Long Range Plan and monthly forecast and analysis, conducting lease vs. buy and FASB 13 analysis for all leases, analysis of warranty and sales rebate accruals, monitoring and assisting in the control of manufacturing and commercial costs, participating with other members of the accounting team  with review, testing and remediation of internal control activities and compliance, and participating in Lean/Productivity analysis to improve cost structure.

 

BS or BA in Finance or Accounting and 3-5 years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience required, with 2-3 years of public accounting and 2-3 years in a manufacturing setting preferred, with experience in cost accounting, budgeting, general accounting, and/or inventory control.  Ideal candidates will also possess strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills to work across all levels of the organization.
