As experience and proficiency is gained, Associates are expected to undertake more difficult assignments and manage greater responsibility.  The primary responsibilities of Associates are focused in the following 3 areas: Audit & Accounting Project/Task Management Personal and Professional Development Specific DutiesAudit & Accounting Understand the purpose of accounting procedures based on level of service provided. Perform accounting procedures and/or tax applications in accordance with firm standards and in an accurate, thorough and timely manner. Understand clients’ accounting systems. Understand current accounting and tax theory.  Apply this knowledge to the engagement. Understand and apply concepts of materiality and audit risk. Prepare work papers that are informative, indexed, cross-referenced and can easily be understood and explained.  Project/Task Management Accept responsibility for, and complete tasks assigned by Reznick Group management in a timely fashion. Make effective use of firm resources to complete a project. Manage multiple client projects at any given time. Alert Reznick Group management in a timely fashion of any issues, constraints, challenges, and/or scheduling conflicts that may arise in completing the assigned task(s). Personal and Professional Development Earn confidence, trust and respect from clients and colleagues.·        Continually develop technical skills and industry knowledge.
